Experiential Learning
Dear Faculty, Staff and Students,
This webpage is intended to help you in applying best practices when offering experiential learning courses and programs to ensure student learning, positive community impact and safety for everyone involved. Experiential learning can add to the richness of the student experience, enhance faculty teaching and research, and contribute to the community but it does take time to plan these experiences so that they serve the educational purpose you desire. The simple steps laid out on this website should make the planning process easier for you. Please be sure to send us your contact info so that we can keep you informed about any additional resources that might be available in the future.
If you need further assistance, please contact Suzan Akin, Program Manager at the Cal Corps Public Service Center, at 510-643-0307 or suzanakin@berkeley.edu. Thank you for your important work,
Cathy Koshland
Vice Provost, Teaching, Learning, Academic Planning and Facilities
