Cal in Local Government is a summer internship program that connects undergraduate students with local city government offices to gain a deeper understanding of local community issues. Students receive holistic support from the Public Service Center and will meet as a cohort to build their leadership skills and reflect on their experience over the summer. This program is a partnership between the Public Service Center, SSCRIP in the College of Letters and Sciences, and the Regents’ & Chancellor’s Scholarship.
