The UC Berkeley Public Service Center connects students with service and leadership experiences.
How will you make a difference?
Are you interested in service, mentoring, grassroots organizing, political advocacy, or activism? There are many ways to get involved. Start by learning about the Public Service Center’s programs. Then, explore affiliated student groups or use the VolunteerMatch database to connect directly with a community organization. You can also explore scholarships that you might be eligible for as a student and public service jobs. If you are engaged in a community project or are planning a service day, check out our student leadership toolkits to help you plan.
Still not sure what you want to do?

Your Home on Campus
UC Berkeley is a large place. The Public Service Center can be your home on campus, where you will feel connected and supported — all while finding your passion and purpose, and creating a more just and equitable world.
“The relationships I established through the Public Service Center have supported and impacted my experience at Cal in a remarkable way. There are so many brilliant people that contribute to the essence of the center. My peers are some of the most passionate and genuine people that I have had the pleasure of learning and growing with. The opportunities for growth by working with the Public Service Center are limitless.”
